Biography
Jesse Palmer is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor and professional martial arts athlete who is a black belt under Bruno “Tank” Mendes. In November 2016, Jesse was honored to be the first American to receive his black belt under Bruno and is currently the head instructor at Soul Fighters Plano and Atlasi Martial Arts. Jesse has competed in the many high-level competitions ranging from IBJJF opens throughout Texas, to the IBJJF European Open in Portugal, all the way up to Pan Ams and World Championships in California.
Jesse has also fought MMA professionally in Dallas with XKO, Dominion Warrior, and professional Muay Thai kickboxing in Thailand at Patong Stadium.
Aside from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and other martial arts, Jesse enjoys the outdoors and nature where he loves to go rock climbing, hiking 14er’s, mountain biking, snowboarding, and fast cars. Jesse spends much of his time with his beautiful daughters and wife. Jesse recently completed his undergraduate B.A.A.S degree at the University of North Texas in 2020 and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in physician assistant studies in graduate school.
